new beginnings and inspiration
These jewelry pieces were created around images that kept popping up in my life… Sometimes, I think of a loved one and an idea comes to mind. Sometimes, an image gets stuck in my head and won’t let me sleep until I work it out in beads. Sometimes, the piece happens as a beautiful disaster stemming from too many beads and focal pieces mashed together on my bead table! Mostly, I’m inspired by the beauty of the beads and gemstones – the little worlds that I imagine each one holds.
Stirring the Pot - yes, I had someone in mind when putting this piece together. She stirs things up in order to see more clearly and works for the good, not evil. well, maybe her laugh is a little bit evil... adventurine and carnelian add luck and fire to this art print surrounded by peyote stitch.
